Elder Abuse Prevention and Intervention
Ideal For: Individuals concerned that a loved one is being exploited, manipulated, or neglected—financially, emotionally, or physically.
What We’ll Do:
We’ll review your concerns and examine the legal tools available to intervene and protect the vulnerable adult—whether that means involving Adult Protective Services, seeking an emergency guardianship, filing for protective orders, or removing a fiduciary.
We also cover proactive ways to reduce the risk of future abuse, such as financial oversight mechanisms and agent accountability measures.
This session can be crucial if you’re not sure whether something “counts” as abuse but feel something is wrong.
